Problem Note 42628: Aggregation names with trailing blanks might prevent certain cube modifications

DetailsAboutRate It

If the NAME attribute of an AGGREGATION statement contains a trailing blank, certain features, such as adding or dropping aggregations or renaming the cube, might be disabled. To prevent this problem, rebuild the cube with aggregation names that do not contain trailing blanks.

An example of the error that might be received when the cube is in this state is:

ERROR: The cube metadata and the physical cube are out of sync.
ERROR: A cube metadata error occurred.
